At his four month checkup, Ronan weighed in at 13 pounds 9 ounces and measured 25 and 3/4 inches long. This puts him at about the 85th percentile for height and the 25th for weight. He is continuing the trend of being long and thin. He’s holding to the same growth curve he established early on, so his light weight isn’t of concern.
The doctor was impressed with Ronan’s development. He can put his feet in his mouth, roll over from front to back and back to front, hold his head up high while on his tummy, grab for things and push buttons, distinguish mommy and daddy from others, look toward whoever in the room is speaking, and perform other amazing baby feats. He is hitting some milestones a couple months early. We think he might crawl at any minute. He rolls over onto his tummy very easily and is figuring out how to get his butt up into the air and put his legs into drive. He just needs to get the arms coordinated with the legs.
Here he is lying on the exam table waiting for the doctor to see him. You can see that he had great fun with the paper lining the table. He tore it apart with those industrious little hands of his.
